The Canon PIXMA TS4150i is a compact all-in-one inkjet printer designed for home and small home-office use, combining printing, scanning, and copying with wireless connectivity and photo-printing features. 

Core functions

- **Multifunction** device: print, scan, and copy from a single unit, suitable for everyday documents and occasional photos at home.
- Uses a 2-cartridge system: one pigment black cartridge for sharper text and one tri-colour cartridge for colour documents and photos.
- Supports borderless photo printing up to A4, allowing edge-to-edge glossy photo output for home photo projects.

Print performance

- Print speeds are around 14 images per minute (ipm) in mono and 9 ipm in colour, positioned for light to moderate use rather than high-volume jobs.
- Maximum print resolution reaches up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, adequate for crisp text and good-quality colour graphics and photos on suitable media.
- Automatic 2-sided (duplex) printing is supported on A4 and Letter plain paper, helping save paper on longer documents.

Connectivity and apps

- Built-in Wi-Fi allows printing from computers, smartphones, and tablets on the same network, removing the need for USB-only setups.
- Supports major mobile platforms (iOS, Android, ChromeOS) and Canon apps such as Easy-PhotoPrint Editor and other Canon print utilities for mobile printing and cloud access.
- Also includes a Hi-Speed USB port for direct wired connection to a PC or laptop when preferred.

Media handling and size

- Rear cassette holds up to 100 sheets of plain A4 paper, with support for a wide range of Canon photo and specialty papers, envelopes, and custom sizes.
- Compatible media weights range from standard office paper (64–105 g/m²) up to about 265 g/m² for certain Canon photo papers.
- Compact and **lightweight** design (around 5.2 kg, approx. 374 x 355 x 168 mm with trays retracted) makes it easy to place on a desk or shelf in a small home office.

 Consumables and running

- Standard cartridges: PG-595 (black) and CL-586 (colour), with optional XL versions PG-595XL and CL-586XL for higher page yields.
- Standard yield is around 180 pages per cartridge in mixed A4 colour document use, while XL versions increase this to about 300 pages, reducing cartridge changes for regular users.
- Designed to work with Canon’s PIXMA Print Plan subscription in some regions, which can automatically dispatch new cartridges when ink is low to avoid unexpected runouts.
