Haier / Hoover / Candy Tumble Dryer Safety Information - July 2025
The Haier Group (comprising Haier, Hoover & Candy appliance brands) recently identified a variability in their production of built-in tumble dryers that, on rare occasions, can generate an internal short circuit to occur. In certain circumstances and under certain conditions, this short circuiting may result in the machine igniting.
To check if you have one of the affected models, please use the below link and follow the on-screen instruction to book a free of charge service engineer visit, to resolve the issue. You will require the Seriel Number of your machine. This can be found on the right-hand side of the product upon opening the door. Serial numbers are usually a 16 digit code.
If you own an affected model, Haier recommends you stop using it immediately and submit your details to their website below for further instructions.
